Hi Geoff,Starting to learn to drive at 34 was a bit of a daunting experience for me. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to find Geoff Hodges' website and booked a ten lesson course initially. I would say that it was clear to me right from the initial free consultation that Geoff's course offered a highly structured approach to learning to drive. Each lesson had a distinct purpose and was both well planned and thought through in advance. Each new maneuver was broken down into smaller manageable chunks which simplified them greatly. Geoff also supplied helpful instruction sheets as an aid to remembering how to carry out each maneuver correctly. In my case Geoff sent a text on the day before each lesson to confirm that it was still arranged and he also altered the length of each lesson, varying from a single hour (practicing maneuvers locally), to an hour and a half (for greater driving distances and practice), which also helped to keep the overall cost of the course down whilst maximizing the experience of each lesson.This structured approach aided me significantly in acquiring the required skills to drive on the road and perform the necessary maneuvers, both of which helped ready me more generally for my test. On a more personal note I would like to say that I found Geoff to be a punctual, friendly and patient instructor, all of which contributed greatly in reducing my nervousness during the initial lessons and in preparing me for my test, which I passed first time. From my experience being taught by Geoff I can't imagine a better tutor. He was always punctual, patient, and very clear and helpful during lessons. In four months I was able to go from having not driven a car at all before, to passing my theory and practical tests first time thanks to Geoff's excellent help. The length of the lessons always felt right, and the training DVD provided was extremely useful for the theory test. Geoff would always text me the day before a lesson to make sure it was still convenient and remind me of the lesson's time, which I felt was a useful part of the service in my opinion.
